About KangarooKiddo

An AI tutor for kids 5 to 12, built by parents who wanted the screen time to be worth something.

KangarooKiddo started with an ordinary problem: a kid who would happily spend an hour on a tablet, and a parent with no good way to make that hour count. The educational apps we tried either drilled the same worksheet forever or drifted into being a game with a thin coat of math on top. Neither one could tell us what our kid actually knew.

So we built the thing we wanted. Sessions are short on purpose, a handful of questions that end on their own rather than running until a kid burns out. The questions are real grade-level work in math and reading, aligned to Common Core for grades K to 6, and the app tracks which skills a child has genuinely mastered instead of counting minutes. When a kid gets something wrong, the tutor teaches it rather than moving on. Points go into a pouch and get traded for rewards a parent sets up and approves, in real life, not for cosmetic prizes inside an app.

Two things we hold to. Parents get the truth: the progress report says where a child is strong and where they are behind, even when that is not the flattering version. And no question reaches a kid unreviewed, because an AI tutor that confidently teaches wrong math is worse than no tutor at all.

KangarooKiddo is built and run by a small independent team, operated by PerfSpot LLC. It is one of a handful of standalone tools we make. They share builders and a way of thinking, not an account, a login, or a bundle. Each one stands on its own.

Separate products, each with its own site and its own job. They are listed here because they tend to be useful to the same people.
