Inference
A conclusion the reader works out that the text implies but doesn't state.
An inference is a reasonable conclusion drawn from clues in the text plus what the reader already knows, figuring out a character is nervous because their 'hands were shaking,' even though the text never says 'nervous.' It is one of the highest-value reading skills.
